To me it's the UK

I live in the US and I call it the UK.

I call it England, and I call the people there English, even though they aren't all English XD

both............depends on the occasion or who im talking to.......if its an american i will normally say UK

A good question and this Is some confusion to US and Over-sea's posters as I have been asked this on other forums by US members.

This Is how It works.

England Is a single country but within Great Britain. Great Britain Includes England, Wales and Scotland.

However, the UK, United Kingdom, consists of England, Wales and Scotland and Northern Ireland which consists of 6 counties and are under British rule.

If I lived there, I'd either say England or the UK.

But since I don't, I call it Britain, or if I'm being specific, I'll say England.
