I've been hearing about Universal Basic Income. I feel like this should be something that's given to all people, and if you're under a certain age, maybe have it automatically put into a savings account or something for when you reach a certain age, you'd have a good buffer of income while you're figuring out your budget and what kind of total income you'd need.
It's usually 1 city in a multi-state area that's testing this, and there is one in Texas, IIRC, but it's not near me! I could honestly benefit from UBI, since I'm permanently disabled, so I'm limited in how much work my body can handle.
