Should all public schools should adopt a universal pass/fail grading system?

What do you think the impacts of this would be?

Failure is important, it motivates you and makes you want to do better. The fact that schools these days seem more interested in teaching a test structure than teaching a subject matter and still try to move everyone forward so no one fails is problematic. Make school about learning, not parroting, give the ability to fail so they have to learn and don't treat everyone as a number and the schooling system might have a shot. As it stands now, though...awful system designed to educate to a bare minimum standard
