Updated Software + New Skin

Hello Off Topix Citizens,



I hope your summer is going well.



We have updated our forum software (IPB) to the newest / most recent version.



Also, we have added a dark based new skin called Deviant. We now have two great dark based skins to choose from (Deviant & Revolt are our dark skins).



Every other skin in the selector is light based, so be sure to check those out if dark colors aren't what you prefer.



You can change your skin by clicking Change Theme at the bottom of any page.

Nothing really that noticeable, its just more polished and got some bugs worked out...

[font=helvetica, arial, sans-serif]- Page x of y added to the beginning of the meta description tag to denote pages in a series

[font=helvetica, arial, sans-serif]- Page x moved closed to the topic title in the <title> tag

[font=helvetica, arial, sans-serif]- Fix where a 301 (permanent redirect) was sent for /unread/ where it should have sent a 302 (temporary move)

Would like to thank you very much for taking the time to post the information. I do see subtle things here and there. I guess once I really get going, I'll see a lot more.



The one thing I did notice right away was that we no longer have customized profile backgrounds.

The social theme is nice too. I like how you can change the colors at the top.

I clicked on the blue and all it blued was the top banner. The background around the text is still beige.



How do I change that?

By picking another theme I think... it would appear to be all it does. Pretty useless.

It's a button, clicking it inserts the person's name into the field... for lazy people.
