I am making this thread because because I want to show member, Dead, just how many gun stories there are daily in Upstate NY where I live and down in New York City.

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department (TPPD) announced an arrest has been made after an investigation into a burglary. Joseph Gallo-Kappus, 30, is facing numerous charges.
On Wednesday morning around 3:18 a.m., police responded to a home on Boulevard Knolls in Poughkeepsie following a report of an active burglary. Arriving officers learned from an elderly resident who had fled the house that her husband was still inside.
After establishing a perimeter, police entered the home through the open garage. Inside, officers located the burglary suspect, later identified as Gallo-Kappus, attempting to leave the house while allegedly carrying boxes of property belonging to the homeowners, including jewelry.
Gallo-Kappus was arraigned at the Town of Poughkeepsie Justice Court. He was then remanded to the Dutchess County Justice and Transition Center without bail.
The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact TPPD’s Detective Division at (845)485-3670.
There's a lot of gun stories and not just in NY. Many people commit crimes using guns in every state in the US. Like @DrLeftover has pointed out: if the government were to ever get rid of guns, people would just find a variety of different weapons to commit murder.
