If someone were to actually break into your house while you are in the shower, what item(s) in your bathroom would you use to defend yourself?

Hot water.
Hot hair straightener.
Squirt shampoo/liquid shower gel into the eyes.
If necessary, smash a mirror or window and use glass. lol. :fighting:

I think the metal shower curtain rod would serve nicely.

This question reminded me of that famous Hitchcock scene with Janet Leigh:

WARNING: even though this was filmed in black and white, in 1960,
and you NEVER see the knife 'get' her and that kind of thing,
it is still powerful and disturbing.

Spray hairspray in the eyes and whack 'em on the head with the toilet tank cover. :fighting:

Perhaps whatever is in the vicinity, I suppose.
Preferably something damaging.

Nice, long, metal nail file .. one that has a sharp point on the end.

Are we allowed to say what kinda injuries, we'd like to inflict with said 'tools'? lol :ninja: XD

Thats a good one although not much room to work up a good swing at someone, so.. Maybe I'll rip off the toilet seat and beat them senseless with that, after breaking the heavy ceramic toilet lid over their head. :P

The handgun stashed there.

Do you have one in every room of the house?

Not every room, no.

...So why the bathroom? :P

Why not? :D
But seriously, think about it. If an intruder were to get into my house while I was taking a shower or sitting on the can, in a small room with nowhere to run, an accessible gun makes sense. It does to me, anyway. I would not be able to get past the intruder and into another room where there is a gun

Oh yeah that makes sense to me. :highfive:

Just relocated my samurai sword into my bathroom .. I'm all good to go :P

There's been a knife in my bathroom for the past week. I guess I would use that if need be, otherwise I would use my fits.
