What is something you learned in school that you think is useless to you today?

Religious Education, or R.E.

That was no use to me, especially when I'm an athiest.

Or the rules to any other useless activity they made us do in P.E., but I suppose the goal there is to get the kids physically active, not really to learn much. For most kids, P.E. is their only physical activity these days.

Exactly.
And softball's all right, lots of sitting and standing around :P
Though I preferred to play badminton without giving a damn about who was winning.

Probably my health class a while back. It wasn't that the material was useless. It was all just common sense. I learned almost nothing in that class.

Useless?

I'm not sure I'd say any of it is totally useless.

I did learn how to get through boring or unpleasant experiences while maintaining some decorum and, in the end, PASSING.

I learned how to sit quietly and let others prattle on about whatever nonsense they were talking about while I read or doodled or whatever.

And I learned that what is truly important in life is seldom even mentioned in a classroom.

Which, overall, I do think was worthwhile.
