Using words as bb codes

I think it would be annoying depending on what words are being used in this manner.
It is annoying.. and I wouldn't be apart of the forums that do this if it weren't for the fact that I am obligated to be..
I get tired of typing out a post only to find that half of it is smilies and sparkly images..

Yes, I think I have an idea of where you are talking about..and somehow, they've attracted others just like it on other hosts and they are pretty big as well. One had all sparkly images, even in the board descriptions. I had to disable images, and animations to navigate the forum. The people there are very nice, and so, I don't mind disabling images and animations since the people there are very nice.
