Yet another school shooting. My thoughts go out towards the victims of this horrible crime.

Perhaps if a teacher hadn't propped a door open with a rock, then remove the rock without checking if the door was then locked, this never would have happened. He had an easy way into that school. Very tragic and my heart goes out to all involved in this needless tragedy.

There needs to be something done to prevent this from happening. This guy clearly was being bullied and had mental issues. He unfortunately never got the help he needed. Taking away guns isn't the answer at all however, people need to be able to defend themselves. My thoughts go out to the families who lost loved ones that day, so many innocent lives were taken it's sad.

People just don't wake up one day and decide to do this type of thing. The shooter was clearly in need in help. Yet society only notices when they do things like this.

Of course it is the answer!

You can not have mass shootings without guns, walking into a school with a handful of stones and throwing them at people does not do the same damage.

Nowhere else in the world has the kind of regular mass shootings in schools, churches, shopping malls, wherever else, that the United States does, and then every time there is a new one everybody says they needs guns to defend themselves.

It's utterly insane, you can't tackle shootings by having more guns.

No the problem is that the doors have to be locked and you have metal detectors in schools and whatever other security, because anybody with mental health issues (or who is just evil) has easy access to a vast amount of guns.

What about other countries that have guns legal and don't have mass shootings?
