Vegetarians vs Meat Eaters

This is a debate forum and if you don't want people to argue your opinions then don't post in it.

You can't argue something you know nothing about, if you haven't tried it yourself, you can't try and prove someone it's not whats causing it.

Well you can but I personally wouldn't recommend it. High chance you be made to appear stupid by those who are knowledgeable in whatever is being discussed. I don't honestly know anything about the vegetarian lifestyle but I can safely say it's not for me. I prefer my dairy and meat and I seem to be doing just find eating both on a daily basis.

Just remember that what is good for one might not be for another. Each person's body is different and what works for one might not for another. Some can eat meat and be healthy like myself and some obviously can't.

Over eating of ANYTHING isn't good.

Some meats are better for you than others....I have never been to a doctor that advocated a total vegan lifestyle. But there are preservatives in processed meats that are not good for you. There is more cholesterol in some meats than others (pork comes to mind--also eggs)

When my father, as well as my husband, began to suffer from an elevated amount of cholesterol in their blood stream, the doctors never advocated total vegetarianism. Just cut back on red meat--processed meats, and higher fat animal products (no lard, real butter, full-or 2 percent milk)

I don't know that a totally vegan lifestyle is any healthier than a sensible diet (no bologna, hot dogs, cheeseburgers, etc)

I think the quality of what you eat is more important than type of diet that you follow.
