Do you do video chats often? For work I seem to be constantly on Slack, Google Meets, and Zoom. With friends and family I talk to them on Facetime or messenger.

No, did one last year for a job interview. Thought I have more by now, but no girlfriends have wanted to talk like that :(

I use whatsapp's platform for personal VCs, also Discord for peeps that are in my "gaming" circle. For professional situations i use Zoom, Teams or Meet.

For work, we sometimes have Zoom meetings but they are not often.

Video chats, not really. I have people seeing my webcam on Twitch. The last time I used WhatsApp was just a call. Not even using the video. I never even used zoom.

JUst use Discord voice chat mostly.

Never, when I was a kid and all the phones came out with front-facing cameras I was mad for video chatting, and then a couple of times in my teens I would have used tinychat with a bunch of friends on a forum I used to go to, but certainly not since then.

Just for some university coursework where I had to do a presentation. Other than that, I haven't used video chats much. Even for work, most people don't bother turning their video on so I've stuck with that mindset.

I think the pandemic had really opened me to using video chat. In the past I used to be self conscious and avoided it but now I find that I actually prefer. I like seeing the other person so I can really tell if they're listening to me or not. lol

Seems like back in the old Star Trek days, everybody would do it when they got the chance. Has it got that popular?

If I am going to video chat someone, I usually Facebook Messenger. However, I do not usually do this because it will waste my time,
