I went out last night to see if I could photograph the comet C2025/A6 (Lemmon). It's not visible to the naked eye (yet) but I pointed my camera in the general direction took a few 20 second exposures. When I got home and uploaded the pics to my laptop and after a bit of searching, there it was!
The core is visible as a star in the photo but the tail blends in with the auroras and you have to squint to see it. But once you see it, it's obvious. It's supposed to get brighter next week and I'm hoping the weather cooperates for more (better) photos.
