Walking dogs in the heat

We've had a bad heatwave and sometimes it needs to be said that you shouldn't walk your dog when it's that hot. Their paw pads can get burnt very easily.

My daughter walks her bulldog early in the morning when it's somewhat cool and then waits until later to walk her again. They'll do quick let outs for urinating but that's near the door.

This is something that a lot of pet owners need to be more mindful of. There's no telling how many dogs I've seen being walked on concrete in the scorching heat just this week alone.
