When was the last time you got a warning or infraction (whatever the forum calls it)?

What did you do wrong? Did you deserve it?



What was the most rediculous / undeserving warning you ever got?



Have you ever tried to dispute or disagree with a warning? What happened with that?

about 8 months ago for daring to post a cartoon with a 8 year old copyright logo :rollseyes:...............the warning from a mod cos 'the site owner dosnt want any cease and desist notices'...........also got one cos i dared post 8 or 9 jokes in seperate threads............'it makes the place look untidy...put them all in one thread or else'

What did you do wrong?

Called out another poster who on the open board was lying about me and a friend of mine.

Did you deserve it?

Nope. I only got the warning because this psycho is good friends with one of the moderators.

Got a warning from a different forum for being a post whore and attention getter.

Have you ever tried to dispute or disagree with a warning? What happened with that?

Nope. It wouldn't have done any good. As stated above, the psycho was good friends with the moderator. As far as the other warning about being a post whore and attention getter, I asked for my account to be deleted ASAP. They begged me to stay but I told them where to shove it. That account instead of being deleted wound up with me getting banned.

Ooh. I got a warning from the same place for the same reason! One of seven or eight warnings before I got banned!

The ban was lifted and I've been back a couple of times for a look but, tbh, the site is now boring as f**k and it's not even worth saying hi.

I got a warning on a different site for scaring two new members away, 'cause I said the admins and mods were actually spies for the American CIA. It was supposed to be a joke, but the new people didn't get my sarcasm, and they left.



Other than that... I don't think I've ever gotten any warnings.

I dont remeber the last warning I got but I do remember I joined a forum once, it had introduction guidelines. I didnt even noticed this stickied introduction rules thread. It required you to answer a set of questions they had made up so the members can get to know you better I guess. Anyway, I posted a regular introduction thread and didnt follow their guidelines that I was unaware of. Next time I log in, I seen that I had been given a 2 point infraction/warning. I replied to the notification PM saying simply Lol then I hit the logout button and never went back.

Funny and true. They are the dead zone. I got an infraction there for answering a question posed by an innocent member.



Some car moderator infracted me when I repeated exactly what a moderator already said regarding four members who were silenced in one day. ooops, I guess only moderators are allowed to answer questions. lolol

All of us who still have active accounts should go and play forum games and create nothing but joke threads. That place is a joke now!

Probably a few years ago. I don't really know if I ever got a warning though, I think it was just a short suspension for something silly.

I completely let power go to my head this weekend, and this is something I've never done before and hopefully it won't be happening again. I misread how a moderator had worded something in our staff lounge and infracted him for it!

I felt really guilty about this and I made apologies both to the public community and to the staff. I acted like a complete idiot and I know it. I feel loads better now that I apologized and things are starting to settle back down on the forum, though!



Oh, as for being warned about something, I'm sure I have been (haven't we all?) but I learned from my mistake on both accounts and became stronger for it.
