I’m with you since I’m married to a Latin woman. Not sure you watched but he did say you could be with whoever you want he just didn’t believe in it. His birds analogy was funny though

I love Hispanic women. I was with this beautiful Hispanic woman during my divorce for about a month. She ended up leaving me and going back to her boyfriend. It got to the point where she talked about him all of the time. Like he was some hero to her. She turned around one day and accused me of lying about my divorce. I had told her it was going to be finalized in January and that the papers had been signed. She didn't listen. She called me up one day and said she was done and insulted me and said that I need to change my bio on Tinder that I was just looking for sex instead of a relationship. She was pretty brutal about it. I was crushed. My mother told me that she was just looking for an excuse to leave.

You are running on old news. People grow and evolve during their lives and Muhammad Ali did more of that than almost anyone I can think of.

Now, it is true that Muhammad Ali opposed interracial marriage when he was still a member of the Nation of İslam but Newsflash! He left the NOI in the 1970s, embraced Sunni İslam and completely ditched his previous racial beliefs.

One of Ali’s daughters is married to a white Jewish man and Ali proudly attended his grandson’s Bar Mitzvah. Holding him to account for views he publicly recanted decades ago is unfair and stupid.

Muhammad Ali is revered because he was an inspiration. One of the most inspiring things about him was his willingness to learn and change rather than becoming a mental fossil.
