As for things changing? I suppose we can blame global warming!
I think we're mixing up the concept of weather and climate. The two are not interchangeable. And, for the most part, the CLIMATE where I live is relatively the same in comparison to the last few decades. However, we do have WEATHER ANOMALIES that occur during their typical seasons (aka, summer here means worse fire dangers/winter means some unpredictable cold snaps and dumping of ice/snow) and delayed or elongated weather patterns.
