A new member has joined the family! Her name is Mister. (Not to be confused with Mr. Coffie)

Isn't she the cutest thing in existence? We got this little girl from the shelter only a week ago and she is so sweet. They said she's almost five years old and had a litter of puppies which seemed to have already been adopted. The only thing is that she is a little over protective and growls and barks at anyone who isn't me or my parent, which is troublesome since we live with two other people. It's also kind of funny because she has a gimpy eye and leg, just like me. :DDD Unlike mine, her's is fixable so we're going to take her in soon.

I have no idea why she was never adopted since apparently she's been there for a couple of months, but she is amazing and I'm so happy we have her. Please do me a favor! If any of you decide to get a pit bull and can't think of a name for them, feel free to use Beefcake Mus Maximus. I was so happy with that name but it looks like she's going to be our only dog. Unfortunately the name doesn't go that well with her, since she isn't all that much of a Beefcake. I still will be nicknaming her Mus Minimus though, hehe.

Aww, bless you for giving her a loving home. She's simply adorable!

Yes, haha! I completely agree Jazzy!

It's incredibly sad when my parent leaves for work since she wines and yelps for at least a half an hour. I usually put her on my lap and sit with her next to the door until she feels better. I don't know if she's always had the separation anxiety or not, but Mister has been in four homes before arriving here, so hopefully she will realize that this home is permanent and that we won't be leaving her.

That's very sad and when someone leaves the house, she fears they're never coming back. It will take some time but once she realizes that she is now in her forever home, she'll get better. She will always have this separation anxiety but just not as bad as it is now. You also have to remember that she had pups taken away from her too and that's hard on a mommy dog. One minute she's got pups and the next minute someone took them all away from her. She has no idea of where her pups went and that must have hurt her badly. You're doing the right thing, Kuri, by putting her on your lap until she calms down. Have you bought her a little stuffed dog? Perhaps she might adopt it as one of her lost pups. Poor, little girl and I'm again so happy you opened your home and your heart to her.

Thankyou so much for that, Jazzy! I never really thought about the puppy part, since I always think about my experiences with one of my snakes who wasn't really an ideal parent, haha. Also, she is doing so much better now! She actually hasn't wined in a while, and always maintains the most enthusiastic greeting every time my parent comes home. The only time it hasn't gone well is when we're both gone, but she's still doing wonderful for someone who has only been with us for two weeks (Almost three)

She's one quick learner too!

Sorry if all of this is kind of off topic, haha.

I am just so happy that Mister is doing well and she has such wonderful loving people in her life now! She's finally realizing that when you leave, you're going to come back. How awful she must have felt before when people just left and never came back for her. She's a sweet and special little girl!
