It doesn't really affect me too much so long as I don't take any in to my system. The last time I did, I pretty much turned purple with blisters.
Thankfully there's plenty of alternative antibiotics.

I'm allergic to bee and wasp stings like yellow jackets. I swell up bad and it takes weeks for it to heal. One time I got stung really bad on my arm from hornets, I waited a week and the swelling still hadn't gone down, so I went into a walk in clinic, I saw a doctor, she put me on steroids to make the swelling go down. It worked.
