Are you a Christian, a Muslim, a buddhist, an atheist...?
Just vote, and describe your religious beliefs.
I'm an atheist, I was raised by not so religious parents but STILL christian parents but when I stopped believing in Santa Claus, the tooth fairy and so on I also stopped believing in god becuase like these other things I saw no proof for his existence. And even if he existed, why was Christianity right and not one of all the other thousands of religions that exist? It just didn't make sense to me.

Would explain but I have a splitting headache so not on for long.

Agnostic.

I was raised Seventh Day Adventist/Christian, but didn't necessarily feel like we were all that immersed in the religion(s). As I got older, I started to question and have now landed somewhere on the fence.

Hey Dee.....I was raised in a Seventh Day Adventist church, too. What a load of shit those idiots believe! That church betrayed me in the worst way and I lost all faith in any organized religion when I was about 14 years old. But I wasn't sure about God Himself. It took years, and it also took some horrible things to happen in my life, but my questions about if God is real or not have been answered and I do believe in Him. The things He showed me have left no doubt in my mind that He exists and He loves us all.

I can't say much about the SDA church as I was very young when we were involved. We segued into Christian churches after my parent's divorce, but even then I was just there drawing, reading, or making trouble with my brothers. I didn't listen to the gospel or pay much attention to what the pastor was saying. That stuff just didn't click with me and I found it hard to believe or have faith in. However, I am not so far gone that I can prove God or a god does not exist. Nor can I prove that one does exist. I think it's more reasonable, for me, not to lean either way as I have no true way of knowing despite being told that "he is found within". I've never been able to find anything even remotely close to faith within myself.

atheist...............stopped having imaginary friends when i was about 6

Other: nothing. I was baptized a Christian but that's it.

Christian; grew up in a Methodist home, drifted away from Christianity, attended a Pentecostal church for about a year and now regularly attend a Seventh-Day Adventist church (the last since Nov. 2021).

I don't believe in any gods or practice a religion. I'm an atheist. I've been an atheist for as long as I can remember. I was raised Baptist, read the bible, and attended church; even then I still didn't buy into it. It's not that I didn't want to. I wanted so badly to believe, to be like all of the other Christians, Make my parents happy, and I faked it for a long time thinking that I would sincerely believe in Theism, but that never happened because I gravitated more and more towards Atheism.
