What kind of vehicle do you drive?

I drive a 2016 Ford Escape and I really like it.

A 2018 Chevrolet Onix. I'm gonna go for a Peugeot when i get myself financially better.

I drive a Kia Optima. No idea what the year is, it was originally my grandmother's car.

Don't you see the year of the car when you pay the renewal fees and whatnot? It should be on your registration and insurance info as well.

My Footmobile. Seriously. I don't own a car, nor do I have a Drivers License.

I don't drive and don't own a car.
I would be a dangerous driver if I did, as I often have issues even as a passenger.
My eyes frequently cause problems, leading to strain, fatigue, difficulty focusing, and momentary loss of clear vision. That's why I'll never drive.

Honda family here. I drive a 2023 Civic LX, family car is a 2017 CR-V EX, and son has a 2015 Civic LX (registered to me, still since family transfers are a pain in Ontario).

I like that generation of the coupe but the sedan is more practical for me. I like the hatch, too, but the premium they charge for it over the sedan isn't worth it.

2000 Dodge Dakota Sport....

I mis-read that as "............are a pain in the Ontario."

:haha:

Toyota 'devotees' here.

2013 Rav 4
and 2013 Sienna

I drive the largest civilian, and second largest vehicle overall, that Toyota EVER made.
Land Cruiser??
I think maybe the Sequoia is a little larger?
Tundra or some model of truck or van?

It's my choice not to drive, not something recommended by a doctor. I often feel dizzy and have a sensation of falling, along with a momentary inability to feel anything for about some seconds, which doesn't seem safe for driving.

If you've ever experienced that feeling when you're lying down and it seems like you're about to fall off the bed, like you're on the edge, you try to stop it, probably looking pretty silly in the process! Haha. And while you're doing that, you can't see anything in front of you.

Also, when I went to a specialist a few years ago, I wasn't driving, so there was no reason for the specialist to mention whether I could or not. But I felt so relieved when I described some of the symptoms and she said, "Yes, that's normal with your condition." Most people used to laugh and didn't believe me, so at least now I know I'm not crazy! Haha.

So yeah, people can drive, but it depends on how severe their condition is.

It was my choice to stop the lessons. I'm basically blind in my right eye. It would've ended badly.

I understand what you mean, and I believe you made the right choice. Sometimes, it's important to trust our instincts.

I need to get my eyes checked again to update my glasses. I have a slight issue with seeing far away, and it's gotten a bit worse. However, getting glasses for both distance and close-up vision will be tricky. A specialist advised me against bifocals, as they not be suitable for me. So, I'll need two separate pairs of glasses.

That does sound tricky! [HUGS]
