What is a goal that you failed at?

Why couldn't you reach that goal? What obstacles were you unable to over come?

I wanted grandchildren but my daughter isn't cooperating :D
It's expensive to raise children.
The percentage of people not having children is at an all time high. Jobs aren't paying people enough to support a family or pay over priced rent. It's gotten so bad that the US government is trying to do something about it. No one wants to have kids in a broken economy. Especially when it puts you at risk of drowning in debt and becoming homeless.

Rents are high in the US because of low construction. Any ideas?

All I can think of is paying better wages, solve the inflation crisis, force owners and corporations to lower rent and make it affordable for people with low paying jobs.
Forcing people to act against capitalist laws of nature might fail in the long run.
