What inspired you as a kid?

What is something that inspired you when you were a kid (or when you were in your teens)?

Sometimes I listen to nostalgic soundtracks and today I remembered how obsessed I was with the Bratz Rock Angelz album (which is still a banger tbh). I loved the motivating messages in the lyrics, and when I had been gifted it for Xmas I basically never took it out of my CD player! Everything was Bratz for me when I was younger… I loved that the dolls expressed themselves and their individuality, I didn’t feel I could do that for a number of reasons, but the interest and the empowerment vibes comforted me.

Hmm, I was kind of going through the motions as a kid / teen. I didn't really have any aspirations.

I know I read a lot so reading inspired me to want to write/publish some of my own work. That hasn't changed though.
