What is a food you disliked/hated as a child, but like as an adult?

For me there's a fair number of them... But the first one to come to mind was cottage cheese.

Baked beans is one for me which I like as an adult now. I also didn't like scrambled eggs as a kid for some reason either.

I remember as a child I hated mushrooms cooked and could only eat them uncooked, no matter how much I tried to eat them cooked I could not tolerate the taste of them. Now that I am older and an adult, I can eat mushrooms cooked without any issues. I guess that is proof that your taste buds do change as you get older.

Cheese was another for me, I could never eat cheese when I was really young but now that I am older, I can eat it and different types as well without issue.

I hated Chinese food when I was a young boy. My father loved it so we visited a lot of Chinese restaurants when we'd travel, which was often on the weekends. I started to slowly take a liking to it and by the time I was 15, I loved it.

Meat! I hated eating meat when I was a kid and my sister and I would make a trade where I would get her veggies and she'd get the meat. Of course, as I got older, I found out that my body needed more protein and once I began eating it, I felt a lot better. Now it's a staple in my meals.
