McConnell, first elected to the Senate in 1984, has served as minority leader since 2007. The GOP takeover delivered him a personal career goal to serve as majority leader. He is the second Kentucky senator elected to the post.

But yet that is what a large amount of them have become themselves. The conservatives could careless if you are 18 or 100 years old. Straight or gay or black, white and have purple stripes on your body if they have the values we believe in you are in not matter what you are. If that means it a majority of whites so be it. If not that is fantastic also but we are not going to worry about it.

I believe that one picture, Doc, was supposed to be outgoing Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer giving Dumbass--; I mean, the Anointed One (to use Sean Hannity's old term for Obama), a finger-wagging over immigration from a few years back... ...I could be wrong, of course...

As to the Turtle...he did manage to win re-election (and see the Republicans re-take the Senate), so it wasn't surprising to see him re-elected by the Republican conference as their leader in the Senate...
