What motivates you to keep the website running? Is it your fun attitude or to share something good for the users...

Most motivation comes from good results. If everything goes the way you want it you'll be more encouraged to keep your website open. It's easy to get deterred and discouraged because of everything that works against a person who is running a website. With forums, you have a lot of competition. Not to mention social media is a common problem for everyone. From what I've realized everyone dealt with the same problems I did back when I owned a forum. I just didn't realize it then. It took me 5 years to see it. Once you see and learn, things aren't so bad.

Fun and it's a sort of personal project. It's nice to own a little site on the web that is somewhat active and it's a great way to meet some new users as well. The community is nice and it's a great place to just put your hair down and relax a bit.

I've already met some great people here so hopefully we get to meet some more new people!

This is pretty how much I look at it also. I'm not too driven by wanting a super active site, it's more about just having a laugh and learning some bits along the way.

I really think the same, i just wanted a site where i can get a good laugh with my friends, i never thought of it like being a super massive great forum with 10 million posts and stuff, i think when forums reach that level it just happens to be something else, you'll need a great team that can deal with your users and know how they behave and you won't be able to do a good job on your own.

Social media is good but when you fetch in the wrong spot, it's just as toxic as a bad relationship i tell you :P

Twitter is a troll nest and facebook isn't what it used to be when you could go anon.

I know forums isn't a platform suited for everyone and it's really hard to find teenagers that prefer this over instagram or twitter tbh.

It's our secret spot for oldtimers :P
