What is your fav animal?

Doesn't have to be an animal you could have as a pet, just your fav in general,

Why did you pick that one?

Ferrets!

Right now? My blue Indian Ring Neck Parrot. She's really sweet and rarely ever bites. Always wants attention.

I think my sister had one of these or similar. Parrots are cool. I like parrotlets myself.

We bought her at a bird fare. Her name was Rio when we got her. She knows her name so renaming her wasn't an option. She's three years old. She rarely mimics. The lady who had her, put a lot of work into taming her.

For one, I'm her favorite. She likes to ride my shoulder and she hates being cooped up when I'm at home. She does NOT like it when I handle other birds in front of her, she gets pissed and will start slamming her food bowl in protest. We can't have her out with any other birds because she'll peck and bite at them.

She mainly laughs at me when I say hi in a certain tone, but not really anyone else. In the living room if we sit down, she likes to walk around on the carpet and explore or sit on my leg and preen. She's not big on flying long distances around the house, so she hasn't flown to me yet. As for my kids, she doesn't like being handled by them.

Oh cool. We’ve gotten some of our birds at bird fairs.

Sounds like they have a load of personality.

Aww, Rio is my fav animal after seeing this thread

Cats are my all time favorite animals. I've always had a cat in my life, and I can't imagine my life without one. We currently have a cat named Gizmo who is a Maine Coon cat. He's super affectionate, and very vocal. They're very laid back and smart too.

My niece's cat is called Gizmo.

To answer the question - Meerkats. Reason? They're cute, funny and intelligent.

I like cats -

- but I make an exception for the moth-eaten moggie from next-door-but-one which seems to delight in pooping as near to the middle of my grass as possible.
