Also a fear of heights, easily get a unbalance feeling if I become too aware of heights.

Bananaphobia (the fear of bananas)

Real answer is spiders.

I don't really know the name of my phobia.. I used to label it as Hemophobia (fear of blood), but it isn't really. It's more the sight of gruesome injuries, and when you can see things that should be inside the body.

Needless to say that biology was my least favourite subject at school.. ?

What type of phobia do you have?

When did you first realize you had it?

I forgot to mention that I also have Claustrophobia. I will freak out if I'm putt into a confined space with no way out - for example a closed MRI machine.

I'm afraid of heights and afraid of drowning.

I love the ocean, I love the beach and have taken swimming classes several times over the years to get over my fears of drowning but I am still terrified of drowning! It's really unfortunate having irrational fears and phobias because it robs you from living your best life and enjoying experiences.

My phobia has to be falling into a frozen lake and not being able to find the hole I created when I fell in.

I have quite a few phobias, they are spiders, heights, being trapped in an enclosed space and dying.

I never knew I had a huge fear of dying until after I had my third child, I was sat one morning whilst he was asleep and it suddenly dawned on me, what would happen to my kids when I die.

That upset me quite bad and has been a fear ever since.

From my perspective, I am scared of seeing big spiders like tarantulas and snakes. I cannot deal with them without seeing them up close.
