What made you choose the forum software for your forum?

I understand that every forum software has its advantages and disadvantages, so i'd just like to ask you what made you decide to use the software you did with your forums.



I personally have a graphics forum that is still in the working and it is on phpbb because of the cool knowledge base

, i'm currently unaware if mybb has a knowledge base but meh

I chose zetaboards because it's the best free forum software in my opinion. It has a lot of basic features for free that other hosts would charge for. It does what I want my forum to do for the most part. I just want a simple close knit community.

Ive used them all (well all the popular ones), this one is great. Great mods, great support from IPS, everything always runs smoothly. Upgrades/installations are done with a couple clicks. Its overall a quality product.

Lately, I've been taking a rather extended hiatus from running forums because I just don't have the interest or desire to do it anymore, however, due to Weebly.com being a little redundant with it's glitches and slowness, I decided that I would start posting my reviews over items on a forum because it's be more lenient, I went with Zeta Boards because it's genuinely a great software and I desire to pursue my interests of starting to make themes for it.

I chose ZetaBoards for my forum because I was getting tired with InvisionFree and that I now everyone's sick of it. No one really uses that nowadays.
