What makes you stay?

We all know how easy it is to join a new forum. Choose a name, password.. type in your email.. Maybe solve a anti spam question or type the letters you see floating in a box.. Maybe click a link in your email and boom you can log in!

The part you are unsure of is if you are going to keep logging in there.



What qualities does it take to make you want to stay at a forum? Why do you keep going back?

I only keep coming back to a forum I register is if it is active, has interesting topics, nice people that are apart of the forum. I keep going back coz if it ticks all those boxes then it's going to be a fun, interesting place to be.

What qualities does a community need to have for you to want to stay though?

What qualities does it take to make you want to stay at a forum? Why do you keep going back?

There are a few things that I would need in order to stay on a forum. For one, the staff would have to be pretty solid. What I mean by that is I don't want power hungry staff or staff that is stuck up. I want to be a part of a community that is welcoming and nice not people who have sticks up their bums.

Another thing I would say keeps me on the forum is the discussions and the members. You can post whatever but if it has meaning or if it adds value than I'm all for it.

There has to be new posts almost daily. If it takes a week for someone to reply or to post then I'm out. I don't want to be talking to myself.

Those are basically what I would need it order to stay on a forum and continue being active. Great question!
