I really miss old YouTube - like back when it felt more community-focused and less algorithm-driven. You could actually discover weird, creative stuff instead of just being fed the same types of videos over and over. The comment sections were chaos but in a fun way, not the toxic mess they often are now.
StumbleUpon was amazing too! Remember that? You'd just click a button and it would take you to some random interesting website. It was like the perfect antidote to getting stuck in the same few sites all the time. I discovered so much cool stuff through that.
And honestly? Early Facebook when it was still just college students and felt more like an actual social network instead of this weird mix of ads, political arguments, and your aunt's conspiracy theories.
