I'd rid the world of prejudice, racism, hate, deceit, violence, ulterior motives....

Well to be quite honest I would rid the world of poverty.

I would try to transition from bigger to smaller governments seeing that it'll be rather more efficient. On other terms I honestly can't really think of anything that would improve its state as it is now - difficult question overall.

Simple....pay it forward....small changes, random acts of kindness, embraced by everyone....I gaurentee the world would be a better place if everyone embraced this philosophy
