Agreed. Such a useless task.
Filling the silence is so annoying. I can sit in silence easily and am okay with it but I've had people attempt to make small talk because they were uncomfortable.

Traffic circles, just makes things so useless. Holds up more traffic.

This town has 'advanced' to two-lane round a bouts. 
Our simple traffic lights at proper intersections were so.......well, simple.
Yeah. I saw where cars were actually piling up because no one seemed to know who was supposed to go. Just never understood them. Same thing with what they call service roads down here. It's supposed to help with the traffic but it honestly doesn't. Simple can be efficient sometimes...I'm wondering if you mean what we call "round-a-bouts"?

Endless standardized tests. Why does someone who just completed a 4 yr BS degree need to take the GRE for Grad school? That costs time and money. I mean obviously that person already demonstrated they could do FOUR years of college level courses and succeed. A lot of these tests are just a money machine with no value

Yeah, there is one right in front of a local highschool, it always makes me nervous.
Aren't they just a cheap / no frills airline. The point of them is to get people from one place to another for less money.
I just use JetBlue. At least they have movies
Movies not being allowed on public access T.V for having inappropriate content. Whenever a T.V show begins, you see the rating, like "TV-14" or whatever, so if we have that, why should movies be taken off the air? You literally have your warning right there.

Shysters, they serve no benefit to society and they made a lot meaningless rules we have to follow in court. Like a judge being called his/her honor. What the hell is the point of calling someone his/her honor when they've done nothing honorable. Putting on robes only allows them to masturbate behind the bench
I think this is a carry-over tradition from really, really olden days when judges were chosen for their age, experience, wisdom in applying logic.....etc.
