What's the first thing you would do if you won the lottery?

I know I would pay off my bills first thing.

Yeah, same... starting with my student loan :P .

After that, I'd probably go part-time (more so that I'm not bored than for the money!)

First thing, I will get my finances straight just in case I die the next day! Hey, you never know...

I would make sure I put aside money to help my family, I will then go on a nice, long vacation and then come back home, buy a nice comfortable home, nice car and open up an animal shelter to take in strays and unwanted animals.

Whenever I remember that I have to pay off my car and house mortgage, it worries my a lot. If I happen to win a big lottery now, they are the first things that I'm going to take care of immediately before thinking of investing what's left of it.

I will disappear for a month to cool off because if I start using the money immediately, I will squander it. I might invest a big part of it in real estate.

I have always wanted to buy a house for my parents. If I should win a lottery now, it is the first thing that I'm going to do because I believe that they deserve more than that from me.

I will buy a house and lot. Then, I will save the rest of the money. If there is a good business to venture in, then I will use it.

I'd go see a lawyer and pay the IRS their pound of flesh out of it. Save a huge chunk of it for my retirement.

I would make sure nobody except close family members know I won the lottery.

I will look for investment schemes and may start a small business as that will help me in better planning
