What's Worse: Your Fave Team Missing the Playoffs or Making the Playoffs and Losing

I would go with my team dominating the entire regular season and then choking when it came time for the postseason. Seen it many times the past few years with the Ravens and Orioles and TBH id much rather have them just miss the tournament than losing in the first/second round.

When a team gets so close to promotion or the title by making the playoffs, there is some renewed hope, expectations and confidence that the team would just edge it and reach the goal. It is very painful when the team finally doesn't make it even with all that emotional buildup.
