Same here. Only parts of it.

I don't consider myself a hedonistic person by nature. In fact I am far from a hedonist.



On the other hand my beliefs are quite pluralistic. I do see a lot of gray are in life and try to be open-minded and consider many points of view.



However I find myself siding with how Smooth articulated the importance of independence. Few things are as enriching as being able to be self-sufficient instead of subservient. That, however, does not imply complete freedom from responsibilities. Although choices form the essence of life, we often cannot escape the responsibilities that come with those choices. There is almost always a price to freedom (at least in my view).
