When did/will you start work?

Nebulous asked if anyone has a job, so here's my variant of the subject. As the title suggests, when did you start work? And if you're not at work at the moment, when do you think you'll start it?

For me, I am currently at college and I think I may start work when I'm in my late 20s, if I one or two more courses in the future. Or may be a bit sooner... I'm not sure yet.

Started working at 19, I'm now 26.

Been working for the State for 25 years.

Been 'here' for 15 after doing the first 10 in prison. (double entendre intended)

Started working when I was in Grade School with a paper route, and have been working almost constantly since.

I started work at age 17, about 4 years ago.

Been working full time since I was 18. had no choice. My mom kicked me out when I turned 18 and I didnt want to be homeless.

Why did she kick you out? Just because she wants you to get a job?

I was a being an asshole. I needed to go. I can see that now that I am older and more mature. I would have kicked me out too.

...Also I already had a full time job at a store.

I started work about two months before my 19th birthday. I dropped out of college due to illness and needed money, so that happened. I lost that job last October, and have yet to find another.
