I don't actually know. I believe it depends on what emotional state is that day/stress factors to consider. Lately I've definitely been needing them.

I love hugs too. I can't remember the last time I had a platonic hug with a friend though. Which is really sad

It's been months for me, I'm social awkward and not great at hugging. The last person was my sister's partner, she saw I was struggling and she gave me a hug. It was nice, but as a family we've never been huggers, so I grew up not being great with hugs or hugging.
