How old were you when you first tried alcohol?

Who were you with?

Did you get drunk or feel a buzz?

About 12, didn't care for it, was with my mother and her friends. No, didn't get buzzed and never felt compelled to really get into drink much after that, either. Now I just plain don't bother. I don't mind people drinking, though, so long as you're responsible and safe, have at it.

Probably about 15 or 16; with friends; whatever kind of wine was the cheapest. Buzzed...yes.

I don't remember at what age, it was with an adult and the taste?...

9 at a cafe called the city bug

I'd asked to have a cocktail, (non alcaholic), but they got me an alcaholic one in sted.

didn't like it much. now I only drink on special ocasions. christmas. new year. that kind of thing

When I was sixteen, with my parents. :) Was only a sip, but it was my first brush with alcohol. I don't drink it much, but I have it in the house. :)

I was 12 and given it by my friend Tina. It was brilliant and I've been a drinker ever since.

Drank a sip of my dads beer once when I was a kid. Spit it out. Don't really count that though. I didn't start drinking until I was in my early 20s. I threw up the first time. Nasty Jose Cuervo tequila.

Tried it in college; didn't care for it then. Still don't care for it much today.

I was about 13 or 14... had a small amount of wine.

Didn't have a proper drink until I was 18, though.

12 years old at my sisters party they had kegs so there was beer everywhere, i had some cups but not enough to catch a buzz at all.

I was 15 and went to a pub with a couple of older mates and had a beer.

I don’t really remember, as it was never a big deal, it was pretty normal for most people back then.
If they were having some alcohol, especially with a meal, they’d let kids have a little taste.
And let’s not forget the old trick of rubbing a bit of alcohol on a toothache. So, I’d say I was exposed to it from a very, very young age.

My dad used to work for a company called Midwest Liquors and he would bring home the bottles that had ripped labels or the wax not properly placed on the tops. I don't remember what age, but it was under 12 when I got my first taste. Of course I hated it. I'm still not fond of alcohol and that's probably because my parents always let us taste it and we didn't have the taste buds for it at a young age and never really grew into it either.

I think I was around 15ish and with friends. The typical, "Come on over, my parents are never home/don't care, let's drink!" I drank a little, but never caught on mainly because I Have a parent who is an alcoholic. Partly why I decided not to drink it going forward.

I believe I was 18. I didn't drink at all in high school. Started drinking when I got a job and was hanging out with work friends that were the legal drinking age. Guess I gave into peer pressure back then.

I never had tried vices before I got into college.

I'm about to be a freshman in college and my friends celebrated for passing my entrance exam with a bottle of soju and they treat me to a Korean barbeque. I don't remember the exact flavour, they got tons of flavour for Soju. But it was alright.
