Where do you see yourself in 5 years... 10 years.. 20 years.

In 5 years, I'll have graduated from High School, and hopefully be attending college with a scholarship.

In 10 years, I'd hope to graduate from college or be finishing up college to get a medical degree.

In 20 years, I will be certified as a medical doctor, but specialized in Rheumatology, working in the Vanderbilt area with a lovely wife, perhaps a family, and be an old, great man.

YOUR turn...

5 years: Hopefully a Police Officer

10 years: Girlfriend/Wife and maybe Kids

20 years: Still working and with the same woman and definiately kids by now.

5 - in uni or taking a gap year.

10 - continuing study or being a hobo/hermit.

20 - dead hopefully.

Why dead in 20 years? That sounds a little depressing.

5 years: Finishing TAFE Courses

10 years: Full Time Job/House

20 years: Same as above, hopefully traveling too.

Because I don't really want to be old, or responsible for kids or a steady job or even taking care of my parents when they're older. I'm lazy and selfish, so I'll just die.

That's not nice. The whole point of life is to continue your family's legacy... I can't imagine anyone killing themselves beacuse of it.

Well to be honest, I'm not nice. End of. I have a different view of life as compared to other people, I don't mind it, it's what I believe in. In the end it's just you, you're alone, why give a damn about anyone else? I believe in fate to an extent, but that's my decided future. I'm not going to pretend I can control it - I may even change my mind. But right now, that's what I would like to happen in 5, 10, 20 years time.

well, you'll only be 34 or so in 20 years--you'll probably change your mind before then. lol.

But for me, I plan on being alone.

5 years--youngest child will be graduated from high school.

10 years--he'll definitely be on his own by now.

20 years--Parent will definitely be gone by now. I'll be trying to enjoy retirement.

I would have said the same thing when I was 14 too. lol

That would be cool.. All the fun of having a kid but you get to send them back to the parents to do all the work.
