Why what’s wrong with that bank?
Too many fees, they charge for everything!
Did you have a joint account with her? I used to have one with an ex and that was the worst! This was before online banking so we relied on writing down transactions in the record thing that comes with your checkbook. She'd go out and spend money and forget to write down what she spent and we'd always be paying overdraft fees.
I don't think anyone can do anything with just the name of a bank you use.

Chase Bank. We used Marquette for a lot of years, but not anymore.
Why did you switch?
Long story, but it's because of the fees and such.
Damn those fees!
I know Wells Fargo has a bad rep, but I never get charged for anything.
I use Bank of America for checking account and credit cards and Charles Schwab for brokerage accounts.
+1 for Chime, best financial app I use. I also use Cashapp because of how instantaneous it is, and Wealthfront for my investments.
Used to use Wells Fargo, they shut down my account because I left $.25 in there for a while when I was super broke and after a couple of months of "inactivity" they took the account and wouldn't re-open it or a new one. So now I bank with Capital One...they're...ok...
