Seconded. I bank with the same bank as my father and grandfather. It's a grand old Canadian bank and, I think, one of our largest to this day. Never found a reason to switch because, frankly, there's not much difference among the big Canadian banks. They all gouge the hell out of you with fees unless you learn to play the game right (e.g. choose an account that offers way to avoid fees and make sure you take advantage). In fact, my wife uses another big Canadian bank and is not all that happy with them. Credit unions are supposed to be better but there's services I use at my bank that they don't really offer. Trust companies are largely dead here now, hoovered up by the big banks once the regulators let it happen.Even tho' it's fairly anonymous here, I wouldn't want to put any of my financial particulars on-line.
