Who do you bank with?

Even tho' it's fairly anonymous here, I wouldn't want to put any of my financial particulars on-line.
Seconded. I bank with the same bank as my father and grandfather. It's a grand old Canadian bank and, I think, one of our largest to this day. Never found a reason to switch because, frankly, there's not much difference among the big Canadian banks. They all gouge the hell out of you with fees unless you learn to play the game right (e.g. choose an account that offers way to avoid fees and make sure you take advantage). In fact, my wife uses another big Canadian bank and is not all that happy with them. Credit unions are supposed to be better but there's services I use at my bank that they don't really offer. Trust companies are largely dead here now, hoovered up by the big banks once the regulators let it happen.

Used to use Wells Fargo, they shut down my account because I left $.25 in there for a while when I was super broke and after a couple of months of "inactivity" they took the account and wouldn't re-open it or a new one. So now I bank with Capital One...they're...ok...

Mine wont go inactive because I get my paycheck direct deposited there every month. I didn't know they do that though. I have a savings account that I don't touch sometimes for months. My checking is the main one.

Yeah, checking is what they worry most about, if you let that go inactive because...well...you have to, they'll shut your account and then you're in their bad books, lol
