I need not help any computer illiterate, because I am the computer illiterate. So till now no such man or woman tried to help to teach me about knowledge in computers or net.

Then again, I don't blame them. They didn't grow up with computers, and were adults when they became big household items. I play tech support quite often for them.

Mostly I am self taught but have taken some basic classes at the college. When in doubt, I call my computer geek friend.

My mom was, she didn't understand the concept of internet. I helped her out and she was very active with myspace back when it was the most popular social network. She made a few friends and liked having some "pen pals" as she called them.

My grandma is becoming more computer literate in a way, she shops online with her smart phone now.

She's amazed she can tap something on her phone and it'll show up at her doorstep a week later.

She has and will, she used to be addicted to the home shopping network. What she's doing now is more dangerous because she can tap a bunch of things and get carried away. When you call to place an order, you have to think/talk about what you're doing.
