Why do more people rely on mobile phones to memorize things?

I noticed that most people cannot live without their mobile phones. They can use certain features to memorize things. As for me, I prefer making checklists.

I think it is all about mental laziness. A lot of people are depending on different technology to function

It is the age that we are in. People have grown up relying on smartphones for so many things and jotting down details is one of those things. Those features actually exists to save people the stress and people don't even want the stress.
