Why do people hate Rap so much?

I dislike rap. I don't spend any time professing my undying hatred to it though. It all comes down to personal taste. What one person may think is awesome, another can't stand.

I like rap but there is some stuff out there that very offensive and shocking to hear.

I like a little from most genres of music. Rap artists I like inlcude Public Enemy, NWA and Run DMC. There is some good rap but a lot of it is just herp derp sup sup derp derp money money bitces bitches and that is what grinds my gears.

I'm not going to go into detail, cause I can go on forever, but basically I don't like songs about things that are soooo trivial. girls..money..cars...jewelery...partying..chicken noodle soup?...white t shirts...swag/game.

Oh no, I understand being brutally honest, and in no way does it even offend me. I'm saying there's a way of getting your point across and being a bit more civilized about it it. In a real life scenario, something like that won't always fly smoothly. I would never ever tell a co-worker of mine who happens to rap, that I think his life dreams and ambitions are all for naught because the genre is terrible and nothing but sheep following the masses. He'd probably knock me straight on my ass. He actually did ask me what I listen to when he first started, and I told him exactly what. He asked if I liked an rap or hip hop or R&B and I simply said I never really could get into it. But that's just me and he was cool with it.

i am not a fan of most rap these days! I am an african american male and I hate it! I don't listen to rap that uses the N word...



I don't listen to rap that refers women to being bitches, tricks, hoes, and broads...



I don't listen to rap that talks about f'in this chick and leavin her, drugs..getting all this money...shooting this guy or that guy...



I think that pretty much cancels out all rap!!!! There are a few rappers who are good to listen to:



T-Pain came out with one of my favorite songs called Suicide. Talking about what AIDS and HIV can do to you!
