Why do you go on forums?

It's a great way to chat and get to know others. As an administrator, it's like you've set a foundation for a town and you watch it grow into a city. This sounds really corny and such, but forums are a way to build 'friendships' with others that you've never met and probably will never meet.

My 1st forums was to see if I could do it and to see if I could turn something into a successful forum.

Now that I done that, its more to keep in touch with people and have a good time.

The people. It's an awesome experience getting to meet people all over the world and just coming together and chatting about random stuff. Who wouldn't want to be insanely awesome?

Well where I live there already is people from all over the world.

On (English speaking) forums though, you really only see Americans/Canadians, UK/Some other Europeans, Australians / New Zealanders.

When I first started up on the whole forum agenda it was completely out of the perspective that it was simply cool to have a website, but almost immediately I acquired a new reason to have an interest in it. I was in a bad time in my life, basically the same as I am in now however, it has gotten alot better, I needed something to keep me from going out of my mind and forums were just that. It also is easier for me to communicate, it is easier for me to play the role that I want to play.
