After a brief search of the forum for the keyword "privacy", all I found were the anticipated news articles; yet no discussion of privacy. Nonetheless if this is a duplicate post, I apologize in advance, perhaps a mod could merge this thread with the existing one.

To start the debate, I have the following three questions:
Not specific enough, ask me a question?
If this thread topic seems a little too broad, do go ahead and ask me questions, I'm more than happy to further specify the topic; I just wanted to keep it broad to get the discussion rolling.

- Why do you think people still use services such as Facebook as opposed to Diaspora for example?
