Disclaimer
After a brief search of the forum for the keyword "privacy", all I found were the anticipated news articles; yet no discussion of privacy. Nonetheless if this is a duplicate post, I apologize in advance, perhaps a mod could merge this thread with the existing one.

Privacy doesn't matter, does it?
To start the debate, I have the following three questions:

  1. What does privacy mean to you?
  2. Why would your privacy matter to you?
  3. Why do you think people still use services such as Facebook as opposed to Diaspora for example?

Not specific enough, ask me a question?
If this thread topic seems a little too broad, do go ahead and ask me questions, I'm more than happy to further specify the topic; I just wanted to keep it broad to get the discussion rolling.
