...God, let us hope so...then again, when have the Clintons' ever played by the rules?

2015-04-22-0b0d7720_large.jpg

(Patriot Post) Let it be said that Hillary Clinton’s undoing began with an email server. But her email troubles are only a symptom of the actual disease. Richard Nixon was undone by his tape recordings, but it was deeper corruption that brought him down. Likewise, Hillary Clinton’s downfall begins now — if she doesn’t find a way to wriggle free.

On Monday, The New York Times released a preview of a book that claims to have followed the money, proving foreign politicians and governments paid off the Clinton Foundation to sway then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. It’s not too much of a stretch to see those 30,000 emails Clinton deleted having something to do with it.

“We will see a pattern of financial transactions involving the Clintons that occurred contemporaneous with favorable U.S. policy decisions benefiting those providing the funds,” journalist Peter Schweizer writes, as quoted by the Times. “Clinton Cash: The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich” comes out May 5.

If this is a way to drum up excitement for a book release, this is a heck of a way to do it.

The Washington Post and Fox News were also given copies beforehand. Based on what Schweizer alleges, they will produce investigations into Hillary and Co’s shadowed finances. Fox News announced plans to air a special this Friday, with Bret Baier anchoring.

Senators Rand Paul and Marco Rubio, the young guns of the Republican presidential primary, were also already briefed on Schweizer’s investigation. “I think there are things that went on at the Clinton Foundation that are going to shock people,” Paul said. “I think they’re going to make people question whether she ought to run for president.”

Already, we know the top individual donor to the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation is a Ukrainian oligarch by the name of Victor Pinchuk. Newsweek broke the story over the weekend that, while Pinchuck made million-dollar deals with Iran in breach of sanctions, he escaped punishment from the U.S. State Department. We’re sure that had nothing to do with his Clinton Foundation donor level.

That’s just one example. The New York Times mentions international deals that possibly only came about because someone sunk millions into the Clinton Foundation: development projects after the 2010 earthquake in Haiti and donations by a Keystone XL pipeline shareholder, to name two.

Naturally, the Left has launched into damage control. ABC News and CBS News said they will ignore the story, leaving the legacy of “60 Minutes” as an investigative force just that: a legacy. Clinton-aligned political action committees are already doing research to discredit Schweizer.

And the Clinton campaign has done its share. “It appears that this book is being used to aid this coordinated attack strategy, twisting previously known facts into absurd conspiracy theories,” Clinton press secretary Brian Fallon said. “It will not be the first work of partisan-fueled fiction about the Clintons' record, and we know it will not be the last.”

The aspiring Wicked Witch of the West Wing even chimed in, “We’re back into the political season and therefore we will be subjected to all kinds of distractions and attacks and I’m ready for that.”

Oh sure, Clinton-heads are saying this is an ad hominem attack courtesy of the vast right-wing conspiracy. But we’re talking about the ethics of a woman who wants to be the next commander in chief, the person ultimately with her finger hovering above the nuclear button, the person we give the bully pulpit for four or more years. Will we trust someone with Clinton’s scruples?

What does it take to unseat a Machiavellian politician like Clinton?

It took eight months for The Washington Post to crack wide the web of impropriety Richard Nixon wrought. Now, journalists often debate what would happen if Nixon operated with today’s media standing watch. Perhaps today’s media circus is too chaotic, the audience’s attention too preoccupied with Kim Kardashian and Buzzfeed’s latest cat gifs. Maybe too many Americans don’t understand or care why the Clinton Foundation matters.

Four dead Americans in the Benghazi consulate of Libya, an email server with questionable security, a nonprofit that seems to court the richest of the rich, telling them to lay their gifts before Queen Hillary in return for untold favors — that’s just scratching the surface of Hillary’s record.

For Clinton to lose her heir apparent position in the Democrat Party, it will take months of scrutiny into a family seasoned in damage control. “Clinton Clash” is just fuel for the journey.

Perhaps. The Clinton Foundation which, according to their Mission Statement, "...convene businesses, governments, NGOs, and individuals to improve global health and wellness, increase opportunity for women and girls, reduce childhood obesity, create economic opportunity and growth, and help communities address the effects of climate change"

has as one its Founding Members someone who also serves on the Board of a company which engages in online postings, such as the following:

"It amazing how women run to a thought of being equal...
Who God stated as rulers ????

Why you women think you are equal as rulers????"

------------------------------------------
"Okay men, we all know by now that American women are useless for most purposes. They make bad wives, bad cooks, bad mothers, bad workers, and so on.

Another thing is- American Women are extremely emotionally immature.

They act like selfish little children, totally obnoxious. It's as if they have never matured past the stage of being 15 years old and depending on their father's credit card.

Why is it that American women are so damn immature and selfish? It's like they don't want to grow up or something, they want to remain forever in their own little world where they are "daddy's special little princess".

American women suffer from a HUGE NARCISSISM COMPLEX! Has anyone else noticed this?

I was in Panama city Florida for spring break... women in their 20's were acting like complete sluts but then act innocent around guys they are not into...

Typical on _____"

-------------------------------------

"American women are too demanding and they accuse of of being demanding when all we ask is love.

They want to take things too slow because they got too many men chasing them. and when we get in way of that we are accused of being pushy and demanding.

During the process of trying to get a girlfriend in America if you say just one wrong thing it blows your chances and you got to pretend to be somebody else.

women overseas will be your girlfriend first day and you can be yourself. i live alone and have offered them a lot and none appreciate it. too much headache just trying to win relationship and i refuse to follow their headache procedure and i wont adhere to their guidelines so us men can be very independent too since they want to brag about their independence."

On this site and in the forums its so obvious....

Don't fall for it guys...."

Apparently, The Clinton Foundation fights for the rights of women with one money-taking hand, while working to keep women down with the other money-making hand. Guess it's some sort of 'job security' or sumpin'-sumpin'.

Perhaps, if we're *lucky*, the founding member of The Clinton Foundation donates a portion of her salary from IAC to keep up the good work of furthering opportunities for women and girls, worldwide.

No, Mrldii, if we were lucky, HRC should march her :censored: over to Congress and testify about things such as: Benghazi, the missing email server, the Clinton Foundation taking money from third-world tinpot dictators, Bill's relationship w/Jeffrey Epstein, etc.,etc.,etc....but as we all know, rules are for the little people, right?

...but as we all know, rules are for the little people, right?

No, I - as part of "we" - don't know this.

Oh. My bad. Were you telling me that I should know this...or are you directing me that I will now know this, because you have stated it as such?

It's rhetorical. The fact that it's rhetorical won't stop you, but I just wanted it on the record that it, really, is.

The Clinton foundation is going to go down as one of the biggest scam foundations in modern times. They help women and children about as much as ISIS loves Christians, Jews, Atheists and gay people.

*Odd*. Just about the same thing (sans the "Christians" part, of course) can be said about many of you Good, Bible-Thumping, God-Fearing, Jesus-Lovin' Folk who make 'Murka sooooooo *great*.

I am no believer in any god so putting the word you in there makes no sense. But if you can name some specific person in the "many" that is running for president we just may agree.

"You" can either be used as a singular or as a plural, depending on the content by which it's used; perhaps you shouldn't take things so personally if the "you" used doesn't apply to "you", as there are many "you"s in the world. That's right...you are not the only "you". Shocking news, no doubt.

Thus far, I can not [yet] do that with the party that has proffered up "many that is running for president", but the race is still young and rumor has it we still have to hear from 9 - 17 more. Who knows? Maybe they'll offer up a choice who doesn't follow the party line and who doesn't wage a war against 51% of the population, supports the rights of EVERYone to be as miserable as straight married folk are, and is for a strong military defense instead of simply fighting the world's wars for them.

Doubtful, though. Elephants have a tendency to stampede when someone upsets their little apple cart.

For those keeping score, here’s more of what the hundreds of millions of dollars that poured into the Clinton Family Global Initiative bought for them.

So, Mitt Romney made a fortune from investing in businesses and creating jobs, and that made him greedy and evil. The Clintons have made an equally large fortune peddling political influence, and they’re America’s saviors? #ThatDoesn’tSeemRight

But the left have already decided, it doesn’t matter how corrupt Bill and Hillary Clinton are. The media and the leftist elites want a president with a uterus, and Hillary will do. And the Democrat 47% base cares about nothing as long as they get more free sh-t from the government; and Hillary is all about that.

Hmmm. Anything good ever come out of any Haliburton contracts?

Nice try on the dodge...*deadpans* ...unfortunately, Darth Cheney ain't running for president, HRC America's Uterus is....:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Yeah...no one believed for a moment your "stunned silence" would last,

even a moment.

It is on-topic; it's the sub-topic present in every single one of your threads that points out the hypocrisy of it all...and how you're able to feign righteous indignation or turn a blind eye,

depending on which *best* suits your agenda.

It's just a tad disingenuous, is all.

No, Halliburton is not the topic at-hand, my friend; it is HRC and the Clinton Foundation that are the topic, not Darth Cheney and his evil spawn....

So no name then.

What is totally shocking me is how the left news media is going after LITTLE MISS MAO like a angry Pit Bull. They won't go after the dear leader because of his color no matter what evil and crooked things he does but Little Miss Mao is a go. It is refreshing but wonder what their end game is here because if Little Miss Mao gets removed by the leftist news media who is the backup they want in running. But the stuff they are revealing never ceases to shock me how corrupt and dirty that woman is.

So no name then.
Ummmm...I'm sorry...I thought this was a predominantly English-speaking site.

AS I'D ALREADY STATED, of the currently-running [12] Republicans (Andrews, Bowers, Christensen, Cruz, Dummett, Everson, Hill, Kinlaw, Paul, Peyto, Rubio, and Russell), no...no name.

To be able TO run on the Republican ticket, in addition to being pro-military spending and action-taking, rah-rah-guns-EVERYone-should-have-one, and pro-we're-a-Christian-nation-built-to-serve-Jesus (we're not), you also have to be against gay marriage, against a woman's right to choose, and - if not anti-women - at least believe women are "lesser-thans", which is why women's equality is not even an issue worth mentioning on their campaign sites. Why devote precious time and space to something that doesn't even matter?

Nope. When and if the Republican party decides to STOP being the Old White Man's Club, I'll pay them some attention and perhaps think about returning my registration and my support to them. Until that time, not only will they not have my support

I'll continue to work against them.

Wow, that's original thought there, isn't it?:rolleyes:

Compared to Hillary "What difference does it make?" Clinton, Elizabeth "Fauxchantas" Warren, Martin "I couldn't keep the Maryland Statehouse blue" O'Malley, Andrew "No fracking allowed in NY" Cuomo, Bill "the Red" DeBlasio, Nebulous "the Creepy Uncle" Biden, and Company, I'd much rather see the Republicans running things....

Wow, that's original thought there, isn't it?

Did YOU, the King of Making Posts Which Contain No Original Content But For The [Attempted] Snarky Comment Preceding The Cut-and-Paste Job From The Drudge-Breit-Limbaugh-Blaze-Hannity-Beck Crew, And Passes It Off As An *Interesting* Conversation-Starter

seriously

just critique a poster's response in your thread as to originality?

Do you, seriously, not KNOW the definition of "a hypocrite"?!? I'm astounded that after naming you the poster child, they didn't bother to explain to you what all the clapping was for.

*deadpans* Yeah, I know what the definition of a hypocrite; I've been on both sides of that particular reference; at least I can say that when I do show a bit of hypocrisy, I'm upfront and honest about it.
