Windows 7?

Will you Windows users be upgrading to Windows 7 when it is relerased, or will you be waiting for a while after?

Im not going to buy it.. As long as my computer works, thats all I care about. I have vista because its what it had when I bought it. If it had windows 98, I would be using that still

Vista is sort of...crap. I'll get the upgrade when I can afford it, now I'm splurging on computer games and my computer specs are good enough to run them, until then I shall stick with Vista I guess.

I've used it...it sucks. Even though vista sucks too, i'd go for Vista. And I'm sticking still to XP and Vista. >_<

I pre-ordered it, I stopped using Vista a while ago. and now using XP. Xp doesn't do everything I would like it to do so I really want 7 to come out.

EDIT: Why are you people asking why upgrade? XP is like an old Honda Civic, wouldn't you rather have a new BMW?

I don't mind any of the versions of windows if it work wth lol i thought vista ran just fine.



Linux will also be on this machine though soon enough...Mandriva FTW!

I am getting Windows 7 with my new laptop.

Even though windows XP is 3 times faster than vista and windows 7.

I'll always install Linux on my computer so I'll always have something fast. (Ubuntu FTW!

Well as soon as I can get all my stuff backedp up onto CD's.. My brothers friend (he works at a computer store) will wipe out my hard drive and put in windows 7 for free.

Windows 7 is actually surprisingly awesome! I honestly enjoy the features more than Vista, though the speculation surrounding it wasn't good they prevailed!

Windows 7, the faster vista.

It still takes up 600mb of ram just for the OS and the only reason it seems faster is they give it in shiny new laptops.

My 756mb ram would not work at all with 7, neither would 1GB even though that's the minimum.

At 1GB ram I could have desktop effects w/ Ubuntu or any type of GNU/Linux.
