Witchcraft: Real or not? Good or evil?

No it doesnt!! I do spells of love and protection, I do rituals to honour the seasons, the things that the gods and goddesses have created. How is that a devilish act?!

Magick is another word for transformation, creation, and manifestation. Witchcraft is a tool we use to act on the subtle - or energy, or quantum - level of reality. The quantum level is the causal realm. It is the subtle influences at the quantum level that decide which way reality will go. So if you want to manifest something into ordinary reality, you start by stimulating the quantum realm to favour that potentiality. That is real magick in action.
So, we do not look at magick as 'powers', we look at it as energy and using that energy to bend certain things to our desire.
Obviously those killed in the Salem Witch Trials were not actual witches. I don't really know much about Magick so I won't comment on that.

They also searched witches looking for a mark. This was called the Devil's Mark.
If someone was disliked or an outcast in the community they were deemed to be a witch.
It was mostly women that were hung. But some men were also tortured and killed.

I myself am not a practitioner of witchcraft, sorcery, wicca, etc. However, I do not believe it's entirely evil, it's only evil when it is used that way.
